next step ahead

So I was called by my human resource manager yesterday. She would like to know how I been doing in the organization since my story was a bit unique when I joined the organization compare to others. There was a lot chit chat and constructive comment between us. 

Nothing personal, but by the end of this year I’ll be actively searching for a new job. I need to secure certain amount of money before 2011. What waiting for me then is the big M. I know a lot of people will say in this time around jobs will be limited. I just don’t have any option, its either do or die ( ok laa its not that bad mind you, I just love to exagerate ).

I had several company in my mind. On top of my list is Experian. This company has it all from the skill that I love, the environment, to the methodology they been using. And they have their own blog, which where I found how cool the office is. Come join me there 😀 !!

brake lock

And the above product almost kill me. Its not the product has problem or defect, basically I did some crazy/awesome mistake tonite.

Basically the above product works by pulling its lever so in event of car thief, it will disable the brake ( yes the brake will cease to functional ).

And it happenned tonite, I forgotten to unlock the brake lock. I just started the engine and then, somwhow I just pressed the pedal to full throttle ( yes I kind in hurry to return home, got date with my gf on the webcam ).  When I reached the 1st junction, I pressed the brake and my car won’t respond. It so happenned because I forgotten to unlock the brake lock. 

As a last resort, I pulled the hand brake and my car started to drift. Finally now I know how does it feels when drifting on a car. It feels great mind you, even though logically I suppose to think how to prevent my car from crashing. Some how I was lucky the car drifted several meter and I managed to ‘corner maut’ before it finally stop.

There were few boys happen to be there and most probably shocked and amazed by my driving skills. Yes it all written on their face, no doubt about it 🙂

Sangat laa demotivated utk pergi ke keje. Especially setiap monday. Tak sabar nak friday haha.

organic…dan perisian

Semenjak demenjak 4 hari yang lepas. Abang sulung ku telah kembali bersama baby yang bernama Izz Dhiya Liyana. Kira 1st anak sedara ku. Budaknya amat lah takut dengan lelaki. Yang pelik kalo p’puan nak dukung dia ok pulak. Seumur hidup aku nih baru 1st time aku terima rejection dari budak kecik, ceh.

Anway amatlah seronok ngk baby membesar. Walaupun baru 4 hari nengok baby. Tapi nampak agak seronok dengan proses menjaga baby and melihat baby membesar. Tetiba aku teringat kenapa aku suka dengan bidang software development. Organic Growth!!

Dan aku mula memahami kenapa aku tidak berapa enjoy dengan keje aku sekarang. Software development yang aku lakukan kini, pada pendapat aku tidak natural kadar organic growth. Mungkin ini adalah perasaan biasa dari seorang developer yang join project yang hampir matured. Maka rasa sense of belonging adakah kurang menyebabkan adanya perasaan kurang motivasi. Perasaan ini mungkin berbeza jika pada peringkata awal projek ini aku terlibat sama.

Mungkin aku patut meletakkan sebuah timer pada blog aku ini. Utk mengingatkan aku tempoh masa aku bersama dengan company ini sblm resign. Di mana aku tak sabar nak melompat keluar 😀

VMware

All this time I did heard about virtualization but never thought using it on software development. It appear that we can create MULTIPLE Vmware which is good if you are thinking in terms of creating an environment for testing.

But bear in mind the limitatation of one hardware capabilities. Having multiple processor and lots of memory ( tons will be better ) do help making the VMware instance working much faster. 

This is something I look forward to explore on weekend. Currently there’s no development work coming and out of the blue, I was assigned to do some system administrator work. Which is great!! As long I don’t bored myself to death.

P/S : Out of nowhere, all the suddently its there. Yeah you know what I mean, its the number 1 on my categories list. I did like thousand of times deleting it already

mood changed!!

Just finish doing some modification on my blog. You can see the new cloud category on the right side of my blog. And also RSS feeder from my google reader has been removed. To adhere with KISS concept, it would be nice just using friendfeeder to keep things updated on other people.

But apart from that, I really annoyed by default value assign to a post if the writer forgotten to categorize the post. By defautl it will assign 1. And whats with number 1?

politik dan tidak bekerja

Kelakar…itu yang aku dapat simpulkan dengan situasi politik negara kita. Di saat krisis ekonomi berada tidak jauh, badut2 yang menjawat jawatan tertinggi sedang bertungkus lumus merampas kuasa dari pemimpin pilihan rakyat.

Tak pasti ini adalah perkara yang benar atau tidak. Tapi ramai sedar aku nih cam PEMBERONTAK. Asik nak belasah gov, tak pun kakitangan awam. Ader jer tak kena pada pihak berkenaan pada mata aku.

Pasal kakitangan awam tuh aku susah nak comment. Banyak yang just carik makan, menyara diri. Yang melaksanakan tugas orang cakap. Walaupun kalo aku comment pasal mrk membazir pun, tapi hakikatnya mrk bukan orang yang membuat dasar. So takper laa, buat masa nih aku akan pause kejap sesi bashing.

Menarik betul jika kita perhatikan keadaan perak. Aku kagum dengan penyertaan beberapa adun ke BN. Ramai orang menembak Anwar, pasal mamat nih bising dulu nak suruh crossover tapi tak jalan pun. Tapi mari kita pk kebaikan perkara ini kepada pihak PR;

• dapat membersihkan diri dari kekotoran and calon yang tiada kualiti
• akan menjadi ransangan kepada rakyat bagaimana BN bekerja ( cara mrk gunakan )
• mendapat simpati rakyat.

Dan utk pihak BN pulak, antara kebaikan ini adalah

• berkuasa di perak ( pembangunan akan dilaksanakan, kot )
• sebagai moral support, dari kekalahan berturut2 pilihan raya sblm ini
• membuktikan ada adun2 PR yang kurang berkualiti

 

Tapi aku musykil betul laa. Susah sangat ker PILIHANRAYA? Lagi musykil rakyat Perak terseksa ker selama nih dengan PR?
